I started off as a member of the band Styv Kuling, which was started in the spirit of the first punk wave, but it never really was a pure punk group as we were mixing original material with covers. The group was split up in autumn 1983. After this I quit music for a couple of years until I started all over again, only this time I was playing the bass. I took part in the creation of a new group called The Moonshine Band that I started with Tom Rasmussen. This band lasted for about two years before it was split up. At this point Tom and I started all over again, with some new guys and it eventually became the group XMILE.
